Ovarian Cyst Diagram: Overview

The above diagram shows the difference between a normal ovary and a cystic ovary. This one shows the cysts occuring on the inside of the ovary. Occasionally, a cyst will grow on the outside as well. Pain from the cyst is felt when it stretches the ovarian wall, as shown.
